The Silver Bells Parade kicks off at 6 p.m. from the corner of Lenawee and South Washington Square. This dazzling event features over 70 illuminated entries, including 11 high school marching bands, horse-drawn dignitary carriages, and Santa Claus in his sleigh!

Enhance your parade experience with commemorative LED wristbands, available to spectators. Event staff will distribute 10,000 wristbands on a first-come, first-served basis at downtown parking areas on Michigan Avenue and South Washington Square, synchronizing with the evening’s musical performances.

These LED wristbands are compliments of the Lansing Board of Water and Light, LAFCU, General Motors, CTA, and the Lansing Center.

Join us at 7:30 p.m. for a community sing with Miami-born singer/songwriter David Archuleta. With multiple platinum hits and global acclaim, his angelic voice and warm smile bring joy to Silver Bells in the City!

Choose Lansing is proud to sponsor the Community Sing. Did you know that Silver Bells in the City began as a simple community sing? The event now offers something for everyone and brings families together who travel from across the state and beyond to kick off the holiday season in this annual tradition. On behalf of everyone in the tourism and hospitality industry, we wish you a joyous holiday season.
